Caroline holds a B.A. in English from Northeastern University and an M.A. in Teaching with a Secondary English Education concentration from Relay Graduate School of Education. After college, Caroline taught 10th and 12th-grade Writing in Chicago with Teach for America, where she discovered her passion for helping students find their voices as writers and effectively tell their stories through their college application essays. She has also worked as a professional development coach to help new educators develop their pedagogy and leadership. She is an incoming J.D. candidate in Columbia Law School’s class of 2026 and intends to pursue a career in public interest, with an emphasis on criminal defense and human rights law. Caroline is a first-generation professional student and is highly passionate about demystifying the law school application process, especially for nontraditional applicants and other first-generation students. She believes a specific strength of her own application was a cohesive narrative throughout all of her application materials and looks forward to helping candidates craft applications that allow them to put their best foot forward at all stages of the admissions process— including all that happens after they press submit on their applications, such as preparing for interviews, drafting letters of continued interest, and asking for scholarship reconsideration after acceptance. Outside of tutoring and coaching, Caroline enjoys reading philosophy, visiting art museums, and relaxing with her two very spoiled rescue dogs.
